About Andrew Rogers Electrical - Domestic Electrician

How did I become a domestic electrician?

I originally completed an advanced apprenticeship in Electrical

Maintenance Engineering, learning to carry out installation work at

college in my first year out of school. I then studied Electrical and

Electronic Engineering for the following two years of my

apprenticeship in addition to completing my NVQ at a medium sized

factory. Ask me how something works electrically and I'll give it my

best guess! I since went self employed, running a successful cleaning

business with many customers fully satisfied with my attention to

detail. Completing some Electrical work on a voluntary basis gave me

a yen to shift the focus of my business' to the trade I know best. My

past experience has been fairly varied, from soldering diodes in

circuit boards, to helping lay High Voltage cables underground - and

a number of things in between of course!

Will I offer a good service?

House wiring can be a challenge, as your home has been constructed, furnished/decorated

uniquely and hopefully, just how you like it! I want my customers to be happy with the job I’ve done,

while completing work that meets legal requirements. Please see my FAQ page for more detailed

information. Thanks.

Do I like caterpillars?

I love them! In fact I’ve reared a few in the past. Click here to see my peacock butterflies!
